“When this old country boy is not tending to chores out on the ranch I love to relax and read a good book. A very good friend of ours, Linda K. Richison whom we have know for 40 years, started writing Romance Novels a few years back. My wife Susie and I purchased her first Novel Heart and Souls. I have always thought of myself as kind of a Mountain Man. I started reading the book and could not put it down. I was so entranced with that Novel I moved on to number two in the series, Lost and Found. Again I was pulled into the story and found that this old curmudgeon has a softer, more romantic side. Next came Spice and Sassy which had a lot of mystery and excitement. Much to my delight the fourth book, Charm and Chills, mixes romance with mystery and history. We have moved into my territory of country life, small town living, ghost towns and gold mines. Now we are mixing romance with mystery. Folks, that describes Central Oregon completely. If you, like me, love a good read and want to escape to a place far away from these troubling times, these wonderful novels will fill you with hours of fantastic adventures. I would highly recommend all Linda K. Richison’s novels.”

“Linda has a talent for writing a story that draws you in so you feel like you know each of the characters personally. When you start one her books you won’t want to put it down.”

“Spice and Sassy…Linda will take you on a journey through a fantasy world entangled in romance. Handsome Matt finds the woman of his dreams in a spitfire named Rose, but Matt has a “roommate” named Lily who appears as a troubled purple fairy that just can’t seem to cross over. Rose and Matt set out to help the entity find peace and closure. So the adventure begins. This is a pleasant, fun-filled story set on the Oregon coast! I enjoyed reading it and look forward to more from Linda.”

Hi, I’m Linda Richison and welcome to my website. Let me tell you a little about myself. I reside in Salem, Oregon with my four loving Pomeranian companions. Yes, I said four. Crazy? Maybe – long story. Salem is in the heart of the Willamette Valley (wine country). It is nestled between the coastal sandy beaches and the high mountain range. Fifty miles, on either side, offers an escape from the hectic city life. My life can tend to get busy at times, so I try to balance work, spending time with family and friends, writing, reading, dancing, and cuddling with my furbabies. I enjoy being outdoors. On warm days, you’ll find me hiking on the many beautiful trails in Oregon or camping alongside the river. It’s all about connecting with the earth; a time to bond with Mother Nature and put the worries and hectic life aside for a bit. You can also catch me at the beach, escaping from the craziness. The feeling of the sand between the toes, the sound of the rolling waves and colorful painted sunsets put me in a tranquil and serene state.
My passion would have to be helping people. It’s humbling to be able to give and support those in need. I recently lost my husband and I was blessed, and it filled my heart, to have so many caring people offer their love and support. I hope someday that I can be there for them and give back what I was graciously and unselfishly given. To sum-up my life, I’d have to say I wake up every day, thankful for another chance to live, and excited for the new adventure; always striving to keep a physical, emotional, and spiritual balance. Sometimes it’s a challenge juggling my daily schedule, added to what the universe decides to add to my daily routine, but life is all about learning, growing and stretching and I believe there’s always an opportunity on the horizon.
